Dylan and I decided that we needed to update our bathroom. Buying an older home gives you many projects to take on and make it your own. We really didn't do much. We painted it a honey color, changed the knobs on our cabinets, got some more decorative face plates for the light switch and plug, put some wood paneling up and added decorative chair rails and base board, all for less than $100. I love the way it turned out. There is still a few things that we would like to do like re-tile the floor and the bath area but that will be a much bigger project and cost a little bit more and being that we are kind of on a tight budget, it won't be possible for a while but soon enough. I want to get it done so that I can enjoy it. But the little that we did do makes it feel like it's our bathroom and new. I love it.
