So we celebrated Aspen's 1st birthday on Saturday, October 11th. We had a party for her with family and friends. We had a ton of people show up but it was fun. It made me realize how small my house is but whatever. It was just a really close party, if you know what I mean.

Aspen had a rough 1st birthday. She cried more than I've ever heard her cry. I think that it was kind of overwhelming to her. All I have to say is, "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY AND I CAN CRY IF I WANT TOO, CRY IF I WANT TOO, CRY IF I WANT TOO. YOU WOULD CRY TOO IF IT HAPPENED TO YOU ( GOT RAN OVER BY TOY MATOR AND KNOCKED IN THE FACE). YOU WOULD CRY TOO IF IT HAPPENED TO YOU (BURNED MY FINGERS ON MY CANDLE). YOU WOULD CRY TOO IF IT HAPPENED TO YOU (GOT SCARED WHEN MY COUSIN WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN YELLING YAY YAY YAY YAY, AFTER SINGING HAPPY BIRTHDAY). YOU WOULD CRY TOO IF IT HAPPENED TO YOU (DAD TOLD ME NOT TO SCRATCH MY COUSINS FACE OFF). YOU WOULD CRY TOO IF IT HAPPENED TO YOU!
So there you have it, Aspen's party. It was a good time. We had some good laughs and are thankful that she won't remember any of it. So hopefully her next birthday will be HAPPIER!!!

What she's good at* Crawling all over the place, dancing, talking gibberish, kissing, getting better at standing by herself, sleeping through the night, playing by herself and keeping herself busy, putting up with boys that push her around (she's going to be one tough chic one day), smiling (whether fake or real, she has this grin where she scrunches up her nose, the cutest thing ever), getting into drawers and cuboards
