Baby Lucy has FINALLY arrived....

So everything went really smooth. I was getting a bit impatient that she wasn't coming so when I did start having contractions on Thurs night, I didn't want to get my hopes up. I came to the understanding that I probably wouldn't have Lucy until Monday when my induction was scheduled for that morning and so did Dylan and maybe that's what did it. We both relaxed and stopped pushing the subject so much. Anyway as the night went on the contractions got stronger and closer together. We took Aspen over to my parent's and left her with my dad and my mom came with us at midnight to head to the hospital. I ended up being dilated to a 5 and 85% effaced so they decided I could stay. Got the epideral at 2 am and slept a bit. Progress was being made. I pretty much was lounging around waiting for them to tell me that it was time to push. Wonders what epiderals do. Around 8:30 am they checked me and I was 9 1/2 and almost completely effaced, so they finally broke my water. They told me I would have the baby by 9 am. I was sketchy because the last time I pushed for 2 1/2 hours. They were right....I pushed through 3 contractions and she was here. She arrived at 9:13 am, weighing 7lbs 8oz (the exact same birth weight of Aspen), and was 20 inches long. It is so fun to have a new baby again. Aspen is doing great. She is such a big helper and loves to share her toys with her. She is always kissing her too. It is so cute to watch her with her new little sister. I am doing good. I think it will be a quick recovery which is great!!!
