So the other day Levi stopped by. He's been wanting a haircut so he wanted to see when I was available. We then started talking about my garden. Dylan was inside doing some homework at the time and then decided to come out. So when he came out he left the door open. Well the other day some people stopped by and wanted to look at Dylan's old car and when Dylan had opened the door a swarm of wasps came flying out, so we had wasps flying around our garden. I told Dylan to close the door because the last thing that I wanted in the house was some wasps. There were at least five flying around at the time. Plus with Aspen and all, I definitely didn't want to have any wasps in the house, besides the fact that I'm kind of scared of them. I just don't want to get stung. Never been stung and never plan on being stung, so I avoid them at all costs. Anyway, so Dylan went to shut the door. Mind you, Aspen was still in the house sleeping. When Dylan shut the door, he's used to locking it before shutting it, so what did he do, locked it. Of course at the time we didn't know that until he tried to go into the house and it was locked. So what does Dylan try to do, blame me by saying this is your fault because you are so anal about locking the door. Umm excuse me but I didn't touch the door last, so how is it my fault. He was just trying to blame someone else. Yeah that didn't work. So both Dylan and I are outside without any shoes on, no cell phone, no spare key, and Levi laughing at us. So we decided that we would call my mom, on Levi's phone, because she has a spare key. Well Levi then mentioned that he had talked to my dad earlier and he had told him that she was at some training for Chico's. Yeah, the training was down south. Great, the only one with a spare key isn't even close enough to go and get it. So we start talking about how we can get in without having to break a window. Levi asked if we had any doors unlocked. I told him no because I'm anal about having the doors locked in our house. I knew that I just locked the back door earlier that day too. So we start talking about windows that might be open. We said we might have the window in the back open but that doesn't help if the screen door to the porch is locked, plus it is way skinny. I told you, I'm anal about having everything locked. So Levi told us that he would go and check to see if it was open, being that he was the only one with shoes on. So he went back there and the screen door was unlocked and the skinny window just happened to be open. We went to the backyard and popped the screen out of the window. Now was the tricky part, how were Levi and Dylan going to lift me up and put me through this window. I had to go sideways to fit through but was it going to be head first or feet first. Well the drop from the window isn't small. I told them I would prefer feet first. By this point I'm laughing that we have to do this. Before we did it though Dylan was trying to move the trash can from underneath the window with the broom that sets there. So finally we are ready. I was standing on the chair outside and all of the sudden Dylan picks me up around my knees, ready to break into our house. Levi tells me to fall back and trust them that they won't drop me. Ready to put my feet through the window, they shove me in sideways. I get in enough to sit and then push myself the rest of the way through, into my house. It was absolutely ridiculous but funny all at the same time. Levi said, I wish I had my camera right now so I could take a picture. So there it is, I had to break into my own house because we locked ourselves out. Aspen had just woke up. Little did she know that she was stuck in the house all by herself.
