We got together with my dad's side of the family for a Christmas dinner at my parent's house and my mom had this brilliant idea (2 days before we got together). She thought that it would be fun for the kids to do a build a bear activity. If you know my mom, she is always up to something, especially when it comes to entertaining kids. She always figures out some "project" (as she calls them) for the kids. So she decided that she would sew a bear for each one of the kids and then they could stuff them. She had her work cut out for her being that she decided to do this 2 days before we got together and the fact that there was going to be at least 13 kids coming. She, like always, pulled it off and even sewed a couple more. Good thing because we had a couple more kids join us. So we had all of the kids draw numbers and they got to pick the bear that they wanted to stuff. They all had a blast. Some even said it was better than the real build a bear, so props to my mom. All in all, it was a fun night and nice to get together and enjoy each others company.
