Christmas with the Rose's

Dylan must of been on the nice list this year because Santa brought Dylan something he really wanted but wasn't sure if he would get it. That is right, he got Rock Band for the WII. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed his gift. At one time or another everyone went to see what it was all about, whether just watching or actually playing. Believe it or not my mom sang and my dad played the guitar. My cousins Luke and Cole spent pretty much the whole day rotating between the drums, guitar, and singing. We missed Dylan when he had to go to work because we had to listen to everyone else TRY to sing. And no, that's not the only reason that we missed him. It was cruddy but he had to work. He did get off early, thank goodness, but we were trying to look at the positive side that he had a job.

Presents!!!
What's in here?
Mom, Dad, look what I got. I got a couple really cool balls. Santa was going to bring Aspen a Kiss me Elmo but unfortunately many kids wanted him as well so she got her squishy ball instead. She was perfectly happy and wouldn't know any different.
Santa please tell me there's lots of good gifts in here.

Aspen's eyes lit up when we brought her stocking over to her. She got lots of pretty bows for her hair, her cool bouncy ball that lights up when it bounces, tons of socks and her favorite ... chocolate covered raisins. Santa treated her good. She was definitely on the nice list.

So we had a really enjoyable Christmas with my family. We always get together at my Aunt's place and spend the whole day there. Dylan, as I had mentioned earlier, had to work because his company thinks they need to be open at all hours, but did get off around 6. It was a ton of fun to watch Aspen open her presents and just be more involved this year. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. We have so much to be thankful for. I am so happy that we are able to celebrate the birth of Christ every year and to be with family while doing so. We had a wonderful day, with lots to eat and many to keep us company. We also enjoyed having my sister in laws family here to celebrate with us as well. I hope that everyone else had a wonderful and joyous Christmas as well. Merry Christmas from us to you!!!
